Climbing Specific Strength & Conditioning
Sometimes not being strong, keeps us from climbing strong. While "just" climbing to get stronger may work for some people, an optimal training program incorporates the individual's needs in order to provide enough of a stimulus that fosters adaptation. We start with an objective analysis of your upper body/lower body/finger strength, and power-endurance/finger capacity to help you identify gaps in your physical and climbing abilities to develop an individualized training program.
Strength & Conditioning Evaluation and Programming
1 Hour - $200
Strength & conditioning consultations consist of a 1 hour evaluation in-person. An in-depth assessment of your current training regimen, finger strength, power-endurance, pulling strength, pushing strength, pulling velocity, and lower body strength will be performed based on your goals. After this is determined, we will program your individualized protocol based on the objective measures taken. This consultation includes free 10 minute follow up calls, as needed, to adjust your program or make modifications. Follow up consultations may be scheduled for re-testing and program progression.
Strength & Conditioning Testing
30 minutes - $85
Strength & conditioning testing consists of a 30 minute evaluation in-person. An in-depth assessment of your finger strength, power-endurance, pulling strength, pushing strength, pulling velocity, and lower body strength will be performed based on your goals. From here, you will have objective data on the areas of weakness in your physical and climbing abilities, and be able to independently program your own training. Follow up testing may be scheduled.
